USNS Geiger  (T-AP-197)

USNS Geiger  was part of the Military Sea Transportation Service fleet transports troops and dependents. She was named after Roy Geiger, who, from July 1945 to November 1946 he commanded Marine Force, Pacific Fleet.  Ship dimensions: 534  feet long, 73  feet wide and a cursing speed of 19 knots.
