General Mason M. Patrick (T-AP-150). Built in 1944 by Kaiser Co., Inc., Richmond, Calif. The ship was a C4 type vessel named in honor of Major General Mason Mathews Patrick, class of 1883 US Military Academy, who helped raised the USS MAINE, and who was Chief of Air Service, AEF, in world War I.
